Lake Geneva

Adam Waugh - Wednesday, September 16, 2009
I'm just back from the Lake Geneva Wine Festival in Wisconsin and we had a blast. It was a gorgeous weekend to be on the lake and I enjoyed seeing all of my friends who made the trip from Chicago to join me.
I was the featured artist at the opening reception and it was exciting to see so much of my work displayed at the Lake Geneva Resort. Bob and Sandy at Galerie Matisse did an excellent job representing my work. I loved Chef Robert Federko's creations. The Chateau La Neurthe drank incredibly well!

Thanks to my good friend and life-long Lake Geneva resident Charles Coleman who hosted a fantastic tour on the Lake for us. Everyone knows what a fan I am of wooden boats. Getting aboard his mahagony boat The Nokomis--made in Michigan by Van Damm--was an incredible treat and one I will not forget. Charles knows his boats and we had the opportunity to see quite a few on our tour.
I'm looking forward to the next trip!
